Pub and Club Fun Regatta
Llandaff’s Pub and Club Regatta is held in the autumn each year and gives members of the public the chance to find out more about rowing and take part in a regatta.
Over the course of four weeks, crews will learn basic rowing skills, improve their general fitness and compete in a 500 metre race at the end of the training.
All equipment and coaching is provided by Llandaff Rowing Club and the event is open to men and women from aged 17+. Regatta categories are:
Men; Women; Mixed (two men and two women); Masters Men (35+); and Masters Women (35+).
There are four in a crew so you can row with your family, friends or work colleagues. If you decide to join as an individual or have less than four people in your crew, Llandaff Rowing Club will help you find a full crew for the event.
Training is usually three times a week, in half hour sessions, but extra training is possible if time permits. The entry fee is £120 per crew (£30 per person) Subject to change.
Update for the Autumn 2013 event will be posted here nearer the time. If you would like to know more about this event please submit your details here.

We know that rowing bug can bite during the Pub and Club Regatta, so following the event anyone interested in learning more about rowing can apply to join our Learn to Row course. This comprehensive course starts in the weeks after Pub and Club and new rowers learn water safety, further basic rowing skills and develop confidence in a single scull.
