Great Results at the NJIRC

The National Junior Indoor Rowing Championships (NJIRC), in its 8th year, took place at the Lea Valley Athletics Centre in North London on Friday 21 March 2014, and it was bigger than ever!

This year the event was co-hosted by London Youth Rowing, British Rowing and The Boat Race Company.

For many of the thousands of new juniors who take up the sport, NJIRC provides the largest rowing event in the world.  It is a fantastic opportunity to try out new skills and gives many young rowers their very first opportunity to race.
