Congratulations on your forthcoming marriage. We are delighted that you are considering Llandaff Rowing Club as the venue for your special occasion.
Hidden away from the hustle and bustle of Cardiff city centre, Llandaff Rowing Club is a stunning venue for wedding ceremonies, receptions and evening parties.
With beautiful views across the River Taff, the Club’s serene and tranquil setting makes for the perfect backdrop to your big day. Our dedicated team are on hand to help create your ideal wedding and guide you through the process.
The Club has a License to enable civil marriages and partnerships to take place within the function room. Wedding bookings are accepted for Fridays and Saturdays, 52 weeks of the year although an alternative day may be negotiated.
The seating capacity of the function room for a Ceremony and Wedding Breakfast is up to 80 people (70 if having a top table), although additional seating can be extended into the bar area. A comfortable capacity for an evening celebration is 80 – 150 people.
The Club has easy access to the M4, Cardiff and surrounding areas, and ample private parking and disabled access.
Charges are made for: Civil Wedding Ceremony (not including Registrar); Room Hire; Room Hire with pre-function decorating with the option of hiring individual items such as, Dressed Balcony, Main Entrance & Room Divider Swag; Linen Hire; Napkins; Top Table; Chair Covers including sash (with complimentary table runner and top table swag) and Mirror Centre Plates to name a few.

Catering
A choice of menus is available from our catering partner, Christopher Lee Catering. Christopher has worked as a chef in top-class kitchens in London including the five-star Inter-Continental hotels, and Conran and Roux restaurants. Prior to starting the company, Christopher was Sous Chef at Woods Brasserie in Cardiff Bay. Along with the set menus, our team will be happy to discuss bespoke menu options that can be tailored to your requirements.
Refreshments
Drinks can be served on arrival and during your reception. These include Champagne, Cava, Bucks Fizz, Pimms, soft drinks or wine from our stocked range. We will be happy to advise you on all aspects of suitable refreshments including wine selection, ideal food accompaniments and times of service. Alternatively you may provide your own wine, cava or champagne which will incur individual corkage fees.
Entertainment
For your evening entertainment, you may organise your own DJ or live band. The Function room has a dance floor for you and your guests to enjoy.
