Splash & Dash Regatta
Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th September 2016
Entry Fee : £35 per person – £140 per crew
Llandaff’s Splash and Dash Regatta, formerly known as Pub and Club Regatta, is held in the autumn each year and gives members of the public the chance to find out more about rowing and take part in a regatta.
Over the course of five weeks, crews will learn basic rowing skills, improve their general fitness and compete in a 500 metre race at the end of the training.
All equipment, coaching and coxing is provided by Llandaff Rowing Club and the event is open to men and women from aged 17+.
Regatta categories are: Men; Women; Mixed (max of 2 men); Senior Men (35+); and Senior Women (35+).
There are four in a crew so you can row with your family, friends or work colleagues. If you want to come along on your own or have less than four people, we will fill the seats.
Training is usually three times a week, in half hour sessions, but extra training is possible if time permits.
To enter, pop into the club any evening and pick up an entry form or download one from here. Entry form
This year, the event is raising funds for two charities. ‘Keep Wales Tidy’ and ‘Velindre Cancer Centre’, if you are not already fundraising for your own personal charity, we would appreciate it, if you could help raise funds for our chosen charities. Thank You! Please download the Sponsor form
