This registration will take place at the Club (Function Room upstairs). This means a representative of your crew MUST attend and present ARA cards for each of your crew, including cox, for inspection. There may be a few event changes for LRC crews – we will advise you if appropriate when you register. Rota The rota has been circulated by email. Please ask Simon Thomas or Sue Mathias for a copy. If/when you register on Friday, please let us know then if you are able to fulfil your allotted duties. We will do our best to be flexible for all as your help on regatta weekend is essential to its success. Regatta preparation – Thursday and Friday this week – work parties needed Can as many as Members as possible attend the Club on Thursday and Friday evening to help prepare the Club for the weekend? There will be free burgers for all workers! Jobs that need doing are course laying and clearing, sandwich contents preparation (Friday night), cleaning of men's and women’s changing rooms, and lots of other small jobs. Please all help, many hands make light work. Cakes! The Regatta Committee has asked if Members would kindly bring along homemade cakes with them on Friday, 10th July for selling on Saturday and Sunday morning. To accommodate this recording, a kiosk, will be situated near the entry gates which is available for all users of the centre to use. A file has been set up for each club, association, etc who use the facility which contains a simple “Outings Log”, which is attached. This Kiosk will be accessible to all users and as such will accommodate a plan of the river, hazard identification, and other useful safety information which should be available to all. I am more than happy if you wish to leave a copy of your own emergency procedures/contacts etc, in the kiosk as part of your own folder so your users are fully aware of your arrangements. Please can you ensure all athletes/users etc under your control fully comply with this request. If you have any concerns or queries please don’t hesitate to contact me.
