The club bar is the hub of our social activity and is open to all members alike. Situated upstairs in the Club house, the bar has a good selection of draught beers, lagers and international wines. Snacks and hot beverages are also available.

With its 42" TV screen, the bar is open for major sporting events such as the Rugby Six Nations, World Cup Rugby, and the Olympic Games. Hot meals are available during Six Nations weekends.

Events such as the Captain's Dinner, Christmas Party, Christmas Lunch, Boxing Day Plum Pudding Fours are traditional annual events.

Our Social membership is at a very low cost, and all drinks are available at a membership discount rate. Opening hours for all members are weekday evenings and Sunday lunchtime.

Hiring the bar and function room

Llandaff Rowing Club is licensed for Civil Ceremonies and Partnerships and the bar and function room are available for hire for weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, and other occasions.  

The function room can be hired during the day for conferences or meetings, and seats up to 80 people. Hot beverages and a buffet lunch can be tailored to your requirements.

Llandaff’s facilities are also used by external groups and during the week classes such as Zumba, keep fit and dance are on offer. These are available to all members and the general public, with payment to the classes direct.

A wine club is set once a month for those who wish to learn more about wine tasting. This is an indepentant club, but you are required to join Llandaff Rowing Club as a social member.
